Dodgeball Champions
April 16th, 2008 | by Daniel |Wow, so I’ve been REALLY bad about not updating since I got back from Peru but I had to mention this. Last Tuesday we played a championship match against the Westside Ballers and beat them fair and square, securing the championship for Duck Or I’ll Hit You In the Face (I’ll need to come up with a better name for next season).
We had a great game, got along with the other team very well and felt great after taking the win. To be honest, I forgot the score but it was probably around 20-7 or something like that.
Doug couldn’t make it to the game unfortunately since he was in the US and also trying to pick up an iPhone for me (to no avail, the bastards are sold out everywhere), so our pal Toronto Mike filled in for the second time in a row - he played for me last week while I was in Peru - and helped us along to the win. Thanks for coming out Mike!
We’ll be celebrating our victory this coming Monday. The league is pretty vague on details but I think we’re going to receive some sort of actual prize.
