Sponsor Daniel for the 2008 MS Ride!

June 5th, 2008 | by Daniel |

I’ve had my bike for almost two months now and I’ve been enjoying it thoroughly. Riding in the city was a bit harrowing at first but now that I’ve got the hang of it, I’m riding every day to work (8k each way) and even going out to Etobicoke and Mississauga on my Rock Hopper. It’s great for a few reasons: it saves me money, time (usually faster than taking the TTC) is great exercise and lets me participate in cool events like the Rona MS Bike Tour.

My dad has been doing the MS Ride for about 5 years now (maybe more) and now that I’ve got my own bike I decided to participate myself and joined his team, “Different Spokes”. I’m going to be doing the 75km ride to Niagara Falls on August 24th, and I need your pledges! You can easily donate online at my fundraising page or get in touch with me to do it in person. Any amount is fine, and every bit helps! Pledges over $20 will get you a tax receipt (immediately if you donate online).

If you’d like more information visit the MS Society’s website, or take a look at a breakdown of how the MS Society uses the funds it receives.

So again, if you want to pledge for me, vist this page, or contact me. Thanks!
